Worship Director Alex Rivera
Alex Rivera was born in the Bronx, New York City in 1960. He lived there until the age of 15 and his journey took him to Los Angeles, California where he studied automotive mechanics at Los Angeles Trade Technical College and worked on British cars at John Morton Imports.
After some time there, he moved to Colorado and continued his automotive studies at Denver Automotive and Diesel College. A desire to change careers caused him to enlist in the United States Air Force where he studied electronics communications. While in the Air Force, he married Diane Byrns and had two children. Corey Rivera and Krista Rivera.
It would take to the age of 30 before God finally got Alex's attention at a Promise Keepers Conference and changed his life forever. With his former life behind him, he found the Lord would use him in the area of music and youth ministry in several churches.
Alex is now an Elder here at Cornerstone Fellowship, leads Sunday morning worship, oversees Children's Ministry and also leads Foundation Youth Ministry.
